At any moment Vertex has containers on the water, and knowing where they are means someone checking shipping-line pages, calling the clearing agent, and reading forwarded emails with subject lines like ‘RE: RE: FW: URGENT’.

The Shipment Tracker watches the tracking pages and the agent’s emails, and sends one daily status line per consignment — with an alert only when an ETA slips or a container starts flirting with demurrage.
