The Review Room

Bilal Chaudhry · founder, Dastarkhwan Group — 300 reviews a month, read at 1am

Ten branches means three hundred Google reviews a month, plus Instagram DMs nobody counts. Bilal reads the angry ones at 1am and misses the pattern: the same biryani complaint, three branches, same week.

Now the Review Room digests it all weekly — patterns surfaced first and hedged as a possibility until someone checks, praise summarised, and every one-star review arrives with a reply already drafted and waiting for a thumbs-up.

fictional demo · real workflow we run it for you your Monday review digest, patterns first, replies already drafted 2–3 week build

Before

Bilal read the angry reviews at 1am, one at a time, missing that the same complaint was hitting three branches at once.

After

Every week’s reviews arrive sorted into their pattern, drafted replies waiting, and the one guest who needs a phone call already flagged.

The deliverable

This is the actual digest the workflow produces for the fictional Dastarkhwan Group — 287 reviews sorted into one pattern, three one-star replies already drafted, the one message that needs a phone call flagged separately. Scroll it; it’s real.

How it runs

📥

Reviews & DMs come in

Every Google review and Instagram DM across the ten branches is gathered for the week — nothing scanned by eye, no branch left out.

🧮

Code counts, the AI reads

Star counts, averages and pattern rankings are computed straight from the export fields, before any AI runs. Then the AI reads every review and DM to sort it, quoting the sender’s own words as it goes.

✍️

Drafts & patterns, under standing rules

Reply drafts are written under a standing rule — never offer a refund, a discount, a replacement or anything free — and a mechanical sweep checks every draft against a banned-word list before anything ships. When a pattern is flagged, the why is worded as a possibility and backed by quotes checked word-for-word; anything uncertain lands in “needs a human look” instead of the counts.

📬

Delivered

The digest and drafted replies are put together in the cloud and arrive for Bilal and the management group. Nothing posts back to a reviewer until someone on the team approves it — the workflow never replies to a customer itself.

The essentials

We run this for you. You don’t operate anything; the digest just arrives. Your decisions: the reply voice, and which complaints escalate to a phone call.

Build time
2–3 weeks, mostly tuning the topic list and reply voice
Honest note
Drafted replies are starting points — the ones worth a personal touch are flagged as exactly that.
